单宁酸强化聚醚胺浮选分离石英与长石的机理研究

Flotation separation mechanism of quartz and feldspar using tannic-acid-enhanced polyether amine

  • 摘要: 浮选法是实现石英与长石分离的有效手段,寻找对长石或石英具有高效选择性的抑制剂成为研究热点。选用环保型单宁酸(TA)作为抑制剂,借助纯矿物浮选试验和人工混合矿浮选试验,深入探究TA对长石选择性的抑制效果,并通过Zeta电位、接触角、红外光谱(FTIR)和X射线光电子能谱(XPS)等表征手段,全面剖析其抑制机理。研究结果表明,在弱酸性条件下,混合矿浮选精矿的石英回收率高达92.79 %,选择性指数SI达7.20,表明该浮选体系成功实现长石与石英的有效分离;TA凭借分子中的亲水基团—OH与长石表面的Al3+活性位点发生配位反应,通过空间位阻效应,有效阻碍聚醚胺(PEA)在长石表面的吸附,使TA能够选择性地抑制长石。因此,在以PEA为捕收剂的弱酸性体系中,TA是实现石英与长石浮选分离的有效抑制剂。

     

    Abstract: Froth flotation is an effective method of quartz and feldspar separation. The development of highly selective reagents for separating feldspar from quartz has thus emerged as a research hotspot. In this study, an eco-friendly tannic acid (TA) was employed as a depressant to delve into its selective depressive effect on feldspar via meticulously designed pure mineral flotation tests and artificially mixed ore separation experiments. Its underlying mechanisms were investigated using such characterization techniques as Zeta potential, contact angle analysis, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Results reveal that under weakly acidic conditions, mixed ore flotation concentrates exhibited a quartz recovery rate of 92.79 %, with a selectivity index (SI) of 7.20, indicating effective separation of feldspar and quartz. The hydrophilic —OH groups of TA form coordinate bonds with Al3+ sites on feldspar surfaces. This impedes the adsorption of polyether amine (PEA) collectors onto feldspar via steric hindrance effects, thereby achieving the selective depression of feldspar. Therefore, in a weakly acidic system using PEA as the collector, TA serves as an effective depressant for achieving the flotation separation of quartz and feldspar.
