Journal of Mining Science and Technology is a peer-reviewed bimonthly academic journal administered by Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, edited by China University of Mining and Technology-Beijing, and published by Emergency Management Press. The Journal is issued both at home and abroad: its International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is 2096-2193 and its Domestic Unified Serial Number is CN10-1417/TD.
This journal aims to promote the development of China's mining industry and safety science and technology under the guidance of the national energy security strategy and support from mining universities and research institutes. The journal publishes original work from domestic and overseas scholars on theoretical and applied research in the field of mining engineering, coal mining, safety science and engineering, surveying science and technology, geological resources and geological engineering, mine construction engineering, rock mechanics and underground engineering, mining machinery engineering, mine electrical engineering and automation, mineral processing and utilization, coal mine environmental protection, green mining and clean utilization of coal energy, management science and engineering, energy security and development strategy. It offers a platform for the exchanges and reporting of the latest academic progress and serves to nourish promising researchers and scholars in the field.
Journal of Mining Science and Technology strives to be a leading international journal publishing top-quality research in the field of mining studies. By the end of 2020, with an excellent Clout Index (CI) of 265.2, this journal ranked the 15th among 75 Chinese and English journals on mining engineering technology in China. It also ranked the 9th in Quartile 1 on the list with a Composite Impact Factor of 1.801.
On October 22, 2020, Journal of Mining Science and Technology was successfully included in the T2 category of "high-quality scientific journals in the field of coal industry".
