Effects of maceral composition on vitrinite reflectance distribution of blended coals

  • In order to investigate the effects of maceral composition on vitrinite reflectance distribution of blended coals,this paper established the technique of predicting vitrinite reflectance distribution of blended coals in terms of vitrinite reflectance distribution of single blending coal,vitrinite content and blending ratio,and the influencing factors and their significant analysis of vitrinite reflectance distribution of blended coals using Software Design-Expert 8.0 were performed based on four coals with vitrinite reflectance (Ro,ran) varying from 0.88% to 1.30% in Kailuan coalfield. Results of the significant analysis with three factors show that compared to vitrinite content and blending ratio,the vitrinite reflectance of single blending coal is a significant factor influencing vitrinite reflectance distribution of blended coal;when vitrinite reflectance distribution of single blending coal is fixed,results of the significant analysis with two factors show that both vitrinite content and blending ratio affect the vitrinite reflectance distribution significantly.
